The Value Of Spirit Health
No one can dispute the fact that the mind, body, and spirit are interconnected, what affects one can easily affect the others as the health of one can affect any of the others.
Your overall physical and mental health will be impacted by spirit health. When you are going through a major life event, such as a job loss, a big move, divorce, or children, you tend to cope better if your spirit health is high. We are more resilient as a people when we look after our spirit health. There is even current scientific research to show us how a spiritual practice connects to neural networks that help awaken our brain (https://www.lisamillerphd.com).
It’s easy for life to shake you, and this can result in a blow to your spirit health. You may feel like your old habits provide you with better relief. You are a whole being. Within your whole being, there are different aspects that you must look after.

Positive beliefs, comfort, and strength gained from religion, meditation, and prayer can contribute to wellbeing. It may even promote healing. Improving your spiritual health may not cure an illness, but it may help you feel better. It also may prevent some health problems and help you cope better with illness, stress, or death.”
Your physical health matters, as does your emotional health. People don’t have too much difficulty understanding that these are important aspects of self to look after but will easily dismiss spirit health.
To remain whole and balanced, every aspect of you must be nurtured.
The following may help you feel comfortable asking yourself tough questions.

These types of questions and many more can help you get to know yourself and move forward in the healing process. It’s just one way that you can serve your spirit health.
Again, it’s important to highlight that spirituality is not the same as religion. While some people find their spirit health in religion, you don’t have to. It’s about finding what works for you. There is no right or wrong answer. For some, it’s communing with nature, for others it’s the hustle and bustle of being surrounded by family and friends. For all, it requires quiet time away from the outer world to do your own introspection and connect to inner guidance from Spirit. There is so much ‘media’ in all aspects from the external, you must be still to hear the truth. That truth will resonate with your spirit when you begin to ask for help. Things will appear and you will be led by the Higher Spirit that is inside you but needs quiet space to be activated.
Just begin knowing that the Spirit of the Highest God does want a relationship with you that is both personal and relational in every way. This is the reason there is no right or wrong way. YOU are always the Beloved of God that awaits you to seek Presence within that unconditional love. It is never about doing anything first. It is always just setting an intention to seek love, peace and joy knowing it is already waiting for you. There are things you can do or books you can read once you start seeking. You can also meditate or use an app that you sense will help you. Again, trust that truth and guidance will enlighten you. The promise given is that when you seek God, all else will emanate from that Source when you seek knowing grace and mercy awaits you. Feeling gratitude for your life will most likely lead you to some acts of service to the outer world as well.
It could be volunteering, practicing gratitude or religion. That’s just to start. There is more to do and more value that comes from nurturing your spirit. First, let’s look at the sum of your parts.
